Sensei Luis Soto 1 Luis Soto - Miyama Ryu Instructor Blackbelt Ceremony

Luis Soto began his training in Miyama Ryu Ju-Jutsu as a student of Shinan Pereira in 1992. In October 1995 Sensei was awarded the rank of Okuiri Black Belt by Shinan Pereira. During his time at the Tremont Dojo in Bronx, NY, Sensei had the privilege of learning from the top instructors of Miyama Ryu Ju-Jutsu.

Sensei Soto keeps his strong ties with the New York dojos. His program will be under the guidance of Shihan Robert Aviles Sr. and Sensei Joe Scarlato. Sensei Soto is the head instructor of the Massachusetts school of Miyama Ryu located at 250 Barber Avenue in Worcester.
